Joyful Fundraising
AJN’s fundraising campaigns aim to further support our goal of providing the opportunity to sing to anyone who wishes to do so. Our teams of volunteers work hard to plan fundraising activities that are fun and to come up with events and products that are enjoyable and useful. Some fundraisers, like grocery card campaigns, are date specific and occur regularly. Alongside are other date specific campaigns like Purdys chocolates, the annual Joyful Garage Sale and more. Who says you can’t be your own Easter Bunny? How nice to know the chocolate you gift or keep for your own enjoyment is the high quality you can always expect from Purdys! Support the choir by ordering your Purdys Easter chocolate through our campaign. Browse the catalogue to select items you would like to add to your Easter basket!

Grocery Cards
We all have to buy groceries, so it couldn’t be easier to support A Joyful Noise than by buying gift cards for your favorite stores through our monthly campaigns. Choose from Safeway/Sobeys, Superstore, Save-On Foods, Italian Centre and Freson Bros in $25, $50 and $100 denominations.
The next order deadline is March 13. Pickup will be the week of March 23. You will receive an email regarding pickup closer to the date.
Bottle Drive
Did you know when you return your empties to the Millwoods Bottle Depot, 2830 Parsons Road NW, you can direct the refund to AJN?
Small quantities of containers:
- Go into the main depot
- Let staff know your bottles are for the “Joyful Noise” account
- That’s it – no need to wait while containers are counted!
Large quantities of containers:
- Use the “Bulk Drop” by pulling up along the east side of the building
- Follow the instructions on the signage
- Let staff know that your bottles are for the “Joyful Noise” account
- Easy as that!
