Joyful Fundraising
AJN’s fundraising campaigns aim to further support our goal of providing the opportunity to sing to anyone who wishes to do so. Our teams of volunteers work hard to plan fundraising activities that are fun and to come up with events and products that are enjoyable and useful. Some fundraisers, like grocery card campaigns, are date specific and occur regularly. Alongside are other date specific campaigns like Purdys chocolates, the annual Joyful Garage Sale and more. Joyful Cornerstore
Purdys Chocolates
Purdys chocolate has become a Christmas tradition for many of us. It’s one of those treats that is always appreciated – whether you give it as a gift, have it on hand to serve to guests or keep it to indulge in as a delicious treat for yourself!
Support the choir by ordering your Purdys chocolate through our Campaign! You get delectable chocolate, and AJN receives 25% of the total sales including GST from Purdys. It’s a win-win! The deadline to order is November 17, with pickup available in early December
Joyful Wine Club
Just in time for holiday entertaining, our partners at Canadian Liquor Store have chosen an outstanding array of wines for your enjoyment! With curated red, white, sparkling and port selections – there’s something for every wine lover! All are perfect to serve when getting together with friends and family, and they make great gifts too!
Order deadline is November 30. In store pickup at Canadian Liquor Store starting Monday, December 8. Pickup at the AJN office, 6322 106 St NW on Saturday, December 6 from NOON – 3 PM. Alternate pickup times at this location may be available by emailing choirs@ajoyfulnoisechoir.ca
Grocery Cards
We all have to buy groceries, so it couldn’t be easier to support A Joyful Noise than by buying gift cards for your favorite stores through our monthly campaigns. Choose from Safeway/Sobeys, Superstore, Save-On Foods, Italian Centre and Freson Bros in $25, $50 and $100 denominations.
The next order deadline is December 12. Pickup will be the week of December 22. You will receive an email regarding pickup closer to the date.
Bottle Drive
We welcome donations of your bottle and drink container refunds. Bring your bottles to Millwoods Bottle Depot at 2830 Parsons Road NW . If you have a small quantity of containers, bring them into the main depot building. No need to wait while they are counted, just let staff know your refund should go to the “Joyful Noise” account. If you have a large quantity, you don’t even need to go into the main building – instead, use “Quick Drop” by driving up to the east side of the building and following the instructions on the signage. Again, let the staff at the Quick Drop area know that your refund should go to the “Joyful Noise” account.
