A Joyful Noise first edition and monday edition choirs present “Celebrating 10 Years of Joyful Noise.”

This joint concert will feature favourite songs from past performances and new repertoire that is sure to end up on the favourites list! To round out this tenth anniversary year with a special concert, founder and director Eva Bostrand is pleased to welcome friends and guest conductors Joy Berg and Trent Worthington along with guest soloists Anna Beaumont, Amber Krawiec, Nola Shantz, and instrumentalists.

The evening will feature door prizes, post-concert champagne and cake reception, and a surprise performance you won’t want to miss! Please join us on Sunday, May 25, 7:30 p.m., All Saints’ Anglican Cathedral, 10035 – 103 Street, Edmonton.

All tickets are $10 and available from choir members, Tix on the Square (www.tixonthesquare.ca), and at the door if available.

A Joyful Noise – first edition Sings About Summer on Mother’s Day May 12

Shall I Compare Thee to A Summer’s Day is a celebration of the music of summer. From Shakespearean madrigals to the glorious “Summertime” by Gershwin, A Joyful Noise will explore our favourite songs evoking the joys of summer. Following the concert we will salute the mothers in the audience by offering a Mother’s Day reception for our audience and singers.

The concert starts at 3 p.m. on May 12, 2013 at Trinity Lutheran Church (10014 – 81 Ave.). Tickets are $10 and are available from choir members, at the door, or by emailing info@ajoyfulnoisechoir.ca.

A Joyful Noise Choir – monday edition Celebrates the Joy of Singing May 5

Highlighted by flashes of humour, a bit of scat, and even some audience participation, this Joyful Noise spring concert is appropriately called Sing! The programme includes numbers such as “Hey! Ba-Ba- Re-Bop”, “How Can I Keep from Singing?” and “one Voice”, that help us share the joy we experience in singing and in sharing that joy with our audience. A joyful reception will follow the concert.

The concert begins at 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, May 5, 2013 in Tegler Hall at Concordia University College (7128 Ada Boulevard). Tickets are $10 and are available from choir members, at the door, or by e-mailing info@ajoyfulnoisechoir.ca.
